Ellen Currano is a paleobotanist at the University of Wyoming with a joint appointment in the Departments of Botany and Geology & Geophysics. Her research focuses on the response of Paleogene plants and insect herbivores to environmental change. Ellen co-founded The Bearded Lady Project, which has produced two documentary films, a photography exhibition, and a book that highlights women in paleontology and the stereotypes that exist. She has already served one term as editor for the Journal of Paleontology.
