The Clash of the Clades returns!

Last year's Clash of Clades brought together members of the Paleontological Society in a fun fundraising competition that welcomed new donors and helped strengthen support for the Paleontological Society. Now it's time for a rematch.

Will the mollusks defend their title, or will another clade rise to the top? Many contenders have been waiting for their chance at revenge.

Every dollar is a vote! Every dollar counts toward your chosen clade's total, and the clade with the highest fundraising total claims victory.

  • The winning clade will be featured in Priscum.
  • Artwork of the winning clade will become next year's donation sticker design.

Each Vote Supports Collections

All proceeds support the Paleontological Society Collections Grants Program, which provides funding for the care, preservation, digitization, and accessibility of paleontological collections that support research, education, and future discoveries.

Rules of the Clash

  • Every dollar donated counts toward the clade designated by the donor.
  • The winning clade is determined by total dollars raised.
  • Only taxonomic clades are eligible to win.
  • Creative nominations are encouraged. Not a clade? Choose one to represent and join the chaos. The official winner will still be a taxonomic clade.
