Conference Grants to support attendance at SACNAS 2020 – The National Diversity in STEM Virtual Conference [Unpublished]

One of the most important endeavors members of groups underrepresented in STEM can undertake is finding their community of support. The Paleontological Society recognizes the importance of inclusion and belonging and nurturing scientists throughout their career paths. We now offer conference grants to support our members’ participation in the annual conferences of SACNAS (The National Diversity in STEM Conference) and the National Association of Black Geoscientists.

With this announcement, the Paleontological Society is offering conference grants to help offset the expenses of PS members from underrepresented and/or at-risk groups to participate in the SACNAS 2020 annual conference. Note that the 2020 SACNAS will be held online.

At SACNAS we’re achieving true diversity in STEM by cultivating and celebrating a community where you can be your whole self. Bring your diverse voices, experiences, backgrounds, and talents and join us. – SACNAS
